IRT-LAN-DBHF and external LF receiver emitter

Postby grjoni » Tue 12. Aug 2008, 14:42

Hi

Is it possible to connect a normal receiver and emitter to the IRT-LAN-DBHF and use it as a 38kHz unit?

TIA

Hi,
yes, in general that is possible.

For transmitting no special transmitter is needed - the internal HF transmitters can also send 38kHz IR Codes.

If you connect an external Receiver the internal one needs to be disabled and you need to configure the receiver type.
That means you cannot receive HF and 38kHz codes at the same type.

If you need both at the same time you need to use an IRTrans LAN Controller.
