Hi,
I noticed that an external IR receiver is available for the IRTrans LAN controller. Do you plan such an option for the USB device in the near future? For practical reasons we would like to replace the internal IR receiver with an external one.

currently there are no plans for an external receiver for the USB devices.
The reason is, that the USB devices are offered as an entry solution, adding lots of features would mean a much higher price.

They are available for standard LAN Devices, though (not only for the LAN Controller XL).
