Which IRTrans device to purchase

Dear Madam/Sir,

I need some advice for the following.

Devices to control:
- Pioneer TV PDP-505XDE : volume +/-, source selection
- Samsung HD CableReceiver DCB-H360RS: channel selection
- Bang&Olufsen 3200 Beosound : volume up/down, source selection
- Samsung TV 46D8000: power on/off, volume +/-, channel selection
- Sharp portable air conditioner CV-P09FR: (less important device) power on/off

Ways to control:
By sending http requests to the irtrans device

Requirements: wifi capable irtrans, standalone capable

Question:
Which devices and eventually add-ons do I need to purchase to accomplish these goals ?

Thanks in advance,
Wim

Hi,
for this setup you will need:

IRTrans WiFi IRDB
Internal Learning Receiver
External High Power Transmitter for B&O
Power supply

Thank you for the quick reply.

I've checked in http://www.irtrans.de/en/shop/wifi.php.
Still a few things:

1. Are these mappings to order numbers correct ?
IRTrans WiFi IRDB == IRT-WiFi-DB
External High Power Transmitter for B&O == IRT-RCV-HF
Power supply == POW-SUP

2. I could not find the 'Internal Learning Receiver' you've suggested.
Could you give me the order number ?

3. Is this setup suited for about 7 to 8 meters line-of-sight ?

4. What is the extra benefit for a second ir output (order nr. IRT-WiFi-2X) ?

Regards,
Wim

Hi,
regarding your questions:

IRTrans WiFi IRDB == IRT-WiFi-DB
External High Power Transmitter for B&O == IRT-TRANS-HPK with the remark "for B&O"
Power Supply == POW-SUP

The internal learning receiver is "COD-RCV"

7-8m line of sight should work.

The 2nd IR Output can be used to control 2 devices of the same make and model independently.

Ok. That's clear. So I should order:
- IRT-WiFi-DB
- IRT-TRANS-HPK with the remark "for B&O"
- POW-SUP
- COD-RCV

Now the last(I hope) two questions before my purchase.
1. With the above combination, could I use the B&O Beo4 to control the other non-B&O devices , and the other way around, control my Beo 3200 from a non-B&O remote ?
2. I'm using a Mac as my main desktop where I also control an Openwrt zwave/router(Vera, always on) and a Linux box.
As far as I can see, the only difference is the iRed license between these:
Would I have more possibilities if I order the IRT-WiFi-MAC instead of the IRT-WiFi-DB ? (Assuming that I can install a isserver on the Linux box when needed)

Thanks again,
Wim

Hi,
the above combination will allow you to learn and send B&O and Standard IR Codes.

To Translate IR Codes from one system to another you will need the correct IR Receivers for that system (Either B&O or Standard).
It is, however, not possible to have more than one IR Receiver. That means you can either control B&O with a standard remote or the other way round.
For both combinations you would need to have the correct external IR Receiver connected.

The WiFi Mac device has got the iRed license instead of the Windows/LINUX license.

Ok. Now I'm aware that I'll have to choose between controlling 'standard' from B&O and controlling B&O from 'standard'.

Please bear my fussing:
As I want to be able to switch between these possibilities (can't make up my mind now), which extra device do I need to purchase in addition to mentioned list ?

Thank you,
Wim

If you want to do both you will need:

IRT-RCV 38kHz receiver
IRT-RCV-HF 455kHz receiver

In case you have a plasma TV in the same room you will need the plasma shielded versions:

- IRT-RCV-PLA
- IRT-RCV-HF-PLA
