Module Status (LED)

Postby bluesincenew » Thu 25. Jun 2009, 01:48

I have two Bus Modules v3.5a and one USB v3.8.
When external power only is connected, all three modules indicate green-red-off. (normal?)

When connecting to a LAN-controller XL with bus power (3 wire,)
the USB Module alternates green-red repeating. (USB and LAN-XL both ID-00);
#1 Bus Module indicates green-red-off;
#2 Bus Module indicates continuous rapid green flashing.
Only one module is connected at a time, using the same cable, in the same environment.

What does the rapid green flashing indicate?

Is there a list of LED indications you can make available?

Hi,
the blink codes of the modules are quite simple:

- Green-Red on boot
- Green when IR is received or Data is received via the serial bus
- Red when IR is sent

Having more than one device with ID 0 connected will cause errors.

Rapid green flashing does not have any special meaning - it might be caused by IR noise or an "IR loop" where IR codes received by one device are sent out by the other on.
