Constant reboot when external receiver is plugged in

Hi all,

I just unwrapped a few Ethernet PoE dB version devices straight from the delivery box. When I start the "virgin" device, and enable the "Select External Receiver 1" on the "IR Receive" page (type is 38kHz), and then plug in an external receiver in the front of the device (receiver from irtrans.de!), the device enters a infinite reboot cycle. Only removing the external receiver cable stops the endless rebooting. I have the same problem with another new device of the same type

This is the version information displayed. The sticker on the device states that it is a V2.1 device

MAC Address 00-22-3E-0A-01-07
LAN Version L1.11.06
IR Version E6.08.42

I have an older Ethernet dB version (no POE), with "sticker" version V2.3 (Strange, as I bought this one 1.5 years before the PoE version) on which I do not have this problem of rebooting.

Update:

The constant rebooting problem is due to a faulty IR receiver. So, of the 3 receivers I received in my shipment, 1 is faulty.

IRTransSupport : I will send an email to info@irtrans.de regarding a replacement of the faulty unit

thanks for the email. A replacement should be on its way.
