quick question relating ascii

I've been trugh the forums looking for an answer and it seems to me that the tcp/ip ascii is not available for the irtrans usb devices? Is this so?

if so which device should I get to so that I am able to use the ascii interface?

Hi,
that is correct - the ASCII Interface is only available for intelligent devices (With Flash IR Memory).

You could use an IRTrans Ethernet IRDB.
