After som weeks, I checked if everything on my homeserver is working correctly.
irServer somehow wasn't running anymore and now when I try to start it, I get:
"No irserver startup config is defined, please edit the configuration".

Then I get the screen to edit the configuration, but after saving and retrying it, I keep getting the error.
the .ini file does get modified and the irtrans module (wifi) can be found on my netwerk and is in the samen 192.168.1.* range.
The http webservice for sending commands from the internal DB works as well.

for the record: the server runs on windows XP.

what can I do to get irserver working again?

When you edit the .ini file the config is shown again on the next startup?

I would suggest reinstalling the SW using the latest version from our website.

nope: re-installing the software doenst help.

When I change the startup-settings, it does save them in the ini file.

Which version is installed?

Sometimes Windows access rights block saving of the file. Newer SW versions therefore use a location in ApplicationData.

version 2.1.1.30614 of IR Server is installed on my XP machine.

Hmm, that is not the irserver version....

Which program do you start -IRTransServer.exe or IRTranstray.exe?

I start IrTransServer.exe

I included the "about" screen, which states the version.

Should I start the server application, or irTray?

IRTransServer.exe is fine.

No idea why the config is not stored on your system.
