IR Trans & Windows media Player 11

Hi, I've bought the OrigenAE S16V case few days ago and it cames with the IR Trans software and I'm able to control Windows Media Center (I got Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit SP1) through the remote.

My problem is that I don't use Windows Media Center and I prefer to listen my music and watch my movies with Windows Media Player 11:

is it possible to control Windows Media Player 11 through my remote and possibly also visualize music infos and/or a equalizer graph playing on the VFD? Also I'd like to be able to personalize the message at the startup of the PC, changing the "Welcome to HTPC" with something more personal or decide to visualize date and time also when the PC is running and not only when in standby, is it possible?

controlling Windows Media Player is shown here: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=32

There is no plugin for the VFD available for the Media Player.

The IRTrans GUI Client (Device Settings) allows to set the VFD Boot message.
The rest of the behaviour is not configurable.
