Received IR jumping rooms

Postby the-wal » Fri 3. Feb 2012, 06:49

Hello and thank you for your help.

I am not sure if this is an irTrans or Homeseer issue.

I have a Ethernet unit in my bedroom and a wifi unit in my tv room. In each room I have the same model tv and paytv box. When the unit receives ir commands in the tv room they get transmitted out the bedroom unit. So if I turn the tv on in the tv room it turns on in the bedroom, this issue is only one way tho, anything received in the bedroom is not transmitted out the tv room.

Thanks.

Hi,
that is the default setup of the IRTrans devices.

It can easily be changed: On each IRTrans device use the web interface / IR Relay page and enter "1.1.1.1" into the first line of the "Accept IR Relay from" list.
