How to control IRTrans XL LED independently???

Postby fkai8025 » Mon 11. May 2009, 14:20

0. The firmware version is 6.03.25
1.The STB is connected with the IR OUT 1, the IRTrans USB(as a receiver) is connected with IR OUT3 and all the other IR OUT are empty.
2. "internal LEDs active and external LEDs active" are set, the external LEDs active must be set, or the IRTrans USB has no response and only the STB has response.
3. The .rem file is attached.
4. I send the command "irclient 10.85.7.118 skyremote 0 0 0"
5. Both the STB and IRTrans USB have responses.
6. I send the command "irclient 10.85.7.118 skyremote 0 0 1"
7. None of the STB and IRTrans USB has response.
8. I send the command "irclient 10.85.7.118 skyremote 0 0 2"
9. Both the STB and IRTrans USB have responses.
Do you think that is right? And how can I control the devices separately??
I think it correct that only one device(IR OUT 1 or IR OUT 2) has response, is that right???
I find that <sendmask> is Sendmask on the serial bus(0 selects all devices), what are the all devices? LED 1- LED 8???
<bus> bus number(0=1st device...) what is bus???
<led> LED selection(i=internal, e=external, 1-8=LED number) what is the relation between this and the setting above(internal LEDs active, external LEDS active)?? I think that 1-8 are the IR OUT 1-8, right??

The parameter "bus" is only used if there is more than one IRTrans device connected to the irserver.
0 will be the first device, 1 the 2nd and so on.

The parameter "sendmask" is only used with IRTrans bus modules connected to the IRTrans serial bus. You can set it to 0 if the bus is not used. It has nothing to do with the LEDs.

Addressing of the LEDs is using the LED parameter:

0 : Default (As defined in the device settings)
1 : Internal LEDs
2 : External LEDs (All external LEDs: 1-8)
3 : All LEDs (Internal + All External)
4 : External LED 1
5 : External LED 2
6 : External LED 3
7 : External LED 4
8 : External LED 5

And so on ...

Very simple: The internal LEDs are the integrated High Power IR Blasters while the exernal LEDs are the LEDs that are connected via the 3.5mm sockets.

That means you will need to control the external ones.
