Hi

I am trying to update the IR datatbase of my IRTrans ethernet device. I am connected with a crossover cable, I have the server running from the DOS prompt and the GUI client on my desktop. Every time I try and flash new information I get Flash Error! running down screen under the IRServer in DOS prompt.

I have tested a spare IRTrans Ethernet device and I get same flash error but also status window with number of devices, commands etc and message that flash update failed.

Is this mistakes in the database??

Problem solved, found that installing different version of software fixed the problem!

Correct - this error happens if you are using an old software version for a new IRtrans device or firmware version.

The current software will always support all (also older) versions.
