Postby mickelive » Sun 4. Oct 2009, 10:40

Hi,

I try to use the IR Trans Client to learn my device som commands.
But I get 39 -1 Not supported without IR Database and IR Error Result: [40 - 1] This operation is only supported using the irserver

If im lucky I get in to the Learn Command and can learn som command but when i close and try agin I get the same error.

Well, the error message says everything.

When you are learning IR Codes you need to use the irserver. That means the irserver has to be running and the GUI Client connects to the irserver.
Then you can learn the IR Codes using the GUI Client. Once you have learned the IR Codes you can upload them with the GUI Client.

If the errror message still appears please check if you are using current SW versions.

I see, Thanks.

But why do I get this "No IRTrans Device with IRDB connected to your system"

I suppose that it mean that I don´t have the memory for the database in my device, but I hope that it has it since I order the device with the memory.

Difficult to say. However, if you try to use the wrong mode a wrong error message might result.

If the type label of your device says "IRDB" it will have the IRDB.
