I have a Linksys E4200 router.

Im sure i've selected WPA2 Personal with a 26 Character password.

Network mode is MIXED.
I can try setting this to N only. (But i think i've already done this and didn't work)

Channel Width is set to Auto (20-40Hz)
Channel is set to Auto

I'll try tonight when i get home.

Kind Regards,
Michiel

I have sitecom router WL-306

It look the module doesn't support the N band, as soon this option is selected the connection is gone.
By selecting B, G or B/G everything is ok.

Well i've tried everything that i can think off...

Network mode: Mixed / Just N / Just G...no connection (no ip).
Setting a fixed channel (1 /10 / 11)
Channel Width auto / between 20 - 40 / and just 20

Shorter encryption key. Long encryption key. Nada.

Turn of encryption. I get an IP (DHCP) and connect just fine.
So somehow i doubt the problem is with the B / G/ N or mixed mode.

omg...while typing this messages i tried the WPA2/WPA mixed mode...
And now it connects just fine!
It seems like there is a problem with WPA2!

If i set my router to WPA2. ANd run the scan option in the IRtrans tool, it detects WPA2.
When i select WPA2/WPA in my router. The IRtrans now detects WPA (Not WPA2!).

I just can't be the only one with this problem...

Hmm, strange.

So far we have not seen that problem. Of course most of our customers nowadays use WPA2. We are testing with WPA2, too.

Could it be there is a problem with this particular module?

None of my other network devices have problems with WPA2. So i doubt its my router.

Hi,
of course that might be possible in theorie, however we have never seen that.

Do you have somebody else with a different router to test?

Of course you can also send us your device for testing.

I can think i can test it somewhere else.
So i will try that first.

Could always be a user error off course

I'll report back my findings after i find some time to test it
