Bought a Roomba 530 vacuum cleaner this weekend and tried to control it through irtrans (and homeseer). Checked this forum and many others to get me started but did not find much info. Found the Roomba codes (see below my .rem file) but sending these (directly) with irtrans doesn't seem to work. Tried to put the client into ASCI mode but can't figure out how to do this. I checked the manual but cant figure out how to

Open port TCP/21000 of the irserver / IRTrans module

and how to

send Send 4 Bytes „ASCI to the open connection

I use a Irtrans ethernet module and just installed the latest driver from the site on my windows 7 system.

Is there anyone who managed to control a Roomba through irtrans who would be so kind to share his/her experiences? Tnx for your help guys!

Hi,
the ASCII mode will not help you here.

So far we where not able to control the Roomba. The CCF Codes look correct.
