Executing script on server

Postby chrisemail » Sat 19. Dec 2009, 10:58

Hi :)

Just received a lan module. Installed irserver on a linux box. Managed to learn and send IR signals with console tools.

But i can't find the solution to wait/listen for IR signals to execute scripts on the server.

Thanks a lot for your help !!!!

Hi,
you can use the LIRC tools to do that. The irserver replaces lircd and works together with the LIRC tools.

The LIRC irexec tool will do what you need: http://www.lirc.org/html/irexec.html
