Ubuntu 8.04 cannot execute binary file

Postby dwvm3 » Mon 14. Jul 2008, 08:44

Hallo,

Hi,
I have launched install.sh from the CD as root and installed the IRTrans software. If I switch to /usr/local/irtrans and try to run ./ip_assign or ./irclient, I get the error message "cannot execute binary file", doesn't matter if I'm logged in as user or root.
Any suggestions?

Best regards

Hi,
we just rechecked that: It looks like these files have been compiled for x64 systems ...

We will provide a corrected version for download later today.

Hi,
we just uploaded a fixed version of the tools containing x86 and x64 SW versions.
