Hi all,

I'm trying to use irtrans with opensuse 11, however when I start irserver

/usr/local/irtrans/irserver -loglevel 4 /dev/ttyUSB0

the following messages are printed:

IRTRans Send status: 1 - 49
IRTRans Send status: 1 - 49

Could not open Remote Database (No folder 'remotes' / Access rights ?)

The folder /usr/local/irtrans/remotes exists, contains the *.rem files and access rights are rw-r--r-- owned by root:root.

Does anybody have any clue as to what might be wrong here?

Thank you very much!

Hi,
you need to be in the correct folder (/usr/local/irtrans in your example).

Simply make a "cd /usr/local/irtrans" before you start the server.
