Unable to learn Dish Network remote commands

Learning process appears to complete, but commands do not work when transmitted and commands are not recognized using "Detected IR Commands".

Hi,
does your IRTrans device have an Universal Learning receiver ?

If not the most probable reason is that the remote control uses a 56kHz Carrier.

Looks like you are correct, a quick search indicates that Dish Network uses 56kHz.

I need to check if I have that cable, thanks!

I have a HF receiver, where do I connect it?

Also, do I need to change a jumper or software option?

The HF receiver will not help you here. It can only receiver 455kHz. You will need an Universal Learning receiver.

Sorry, I didn't mean the B&O freq. I have a receiver for the required freq.

How do I proceed?

The receiver came with an instruction sheet that shows how to connect it.

Furthermore you will need to set the receiver type using "Device Settings" of the GUI client.

Please note that only the receivers we sell are compatible with our devices. Other receivers might permanently damage the IRTrans.

If anyone has a GOOD working .rem file for a Dish receiver (vip 211 ideally), please post it!

I've made a couple with mixed results. I've got the 56k receiver, so I can read & transmit codes...but it doesn't work on ALL vip211 receivers..strange

Quite often different batches of the same STB use different IR codes.
That means you will need to learn all versions of the IR codes.
