Vista TV Pack Red Green Yellow Blue buttons

With the addition of the new TV Pack, Vista Media Center now supports red button (MHEG) functionality. However, when I press the red button it just takes me to channel 1 (BBC1) rather than opening the MHEG menu and the green, yellow and blue buttons don't do anything. My remote is a standard Media Center remote supplied by Zalman.

I've been looking around the internet for information about this but can't seem to find a lot. I thought I'd try to get the remote to learn the commands but there's not much documentation available for that and I have no idea what the proper commands are. The medicenter portion of my apps.cfg file is set to the default and seems to be missing these buttons:

Hi,
the problem here is, that due to the fact that there is no general, universal IR API available we have to emulate all functions of the IR Remote using either events or keystrokes.

As there are no events or keystrokes available for the Red/Green/Blue/Yellow buttons of the remote we cannot support them.

If someone has got the relevant keystrokes we could easily add them to the apps.cfg ...

Thats awesome that the colored buttons doesnt work with IR Trans

Because I need the red one and the blue one for the Media Control Plugin for Media Center.

Any workaround????

For UK Teletext Assuming your IR is recognising the relevant button presses you need to map the keyboard shortcuts

enter the apps.cfg file and make the changes at the end of the section (NOTE you need to change TELETEXT [FNC] to [KEY]
