external LED selection problem

Postby dell » Mon 12. Apr 2010, 15:55

Hi,

I'm having trouble selecting individual LEDs via the sndccf udp interface.

<sndccf> <ccf hexstring>, [l<led>],[p<port>]

I am sending the following:

sndccf 0000 0068 0000 0022 0168 00b4 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 03dd,LE2,P21000

it sends the code fine to the device and works ok, but always sends it through both external LED connectors, not the one i request i.e (LE2)

I have tried all combinations of upper/lower case and examples from the forum. it doesn't seem to work.

please can somebody advise.

Hi,
in general the syntax ist not "le2" but "l2".

Which IRTrans device do you use ?

hi there, thanks for the quick reply.

yer i tried "l2" as one of many combinations but still sends to both output LEDS.

I am using the following:

Ethernet POE: Lan PoE v1.3 IRDB

MAC Address 00-22-3E-01-04-21
LAN Version L1.07.56
IR Version E6.04.51
Uptime 000D 17:54:57

In the purchase i requested the dual IR output. There is a sticker on the back of the device that says "2nd IR Output", however on the web page configuration> IR Configuration Settings: the 2nd IR receiver is greyed out and un-configurable. Could this be a mistake? firmware issue.

Hi,
we will test it here and let you know.

If the device has got the sticker it has got the 2nd output.

The http pages referes to the IR Receiver (IR Input) - not IR output.

OK, got it:

sndccf uses only numerical values for the LED selection. Therefore they are like this:

l0 Default
l1 Internal
l2 All external
l3 All LEDs
l4 Output 1
l5 Output 2

Hi there thanks for the information.

Have tried with your recommendations.

sndccf 0000 0068 0000 0022 0168 00b4 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 03dd,l5,p21000

LED output selection still doesn't work. Still sends same output to both LEDS, regardless of specifying l4 or l5

OK, we have found the problem.

Please use two commas after the CCF data:

sndccf 0000 0068 0000 0022 0168 00b4 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 0043 0016 03dd,,l2,p21000

Furthermore LED naming starts with "1".

Hello

I'm using an IRTrans LAN I/O V1.5. Is it possible that the labels of the two output-jacks are inverted?
