Queuing IR codes ?

Postby lagommette » Wed 26. Jan 2011, 20:50

Hi,

Lets imagine I send a very long IR code that takes 3 seconds to be send by my IRTrans device. After one second, I send a second normal IR code. Does the IRTrans device spools the second IR code until the first one is sent or does it stop the first IR code in order to send the second ?

In other terms, if I send many IR codes, each one after the other can be sure that all IR code will be send ?

Thanks for your answer.

Hi,
sending a 2nd code will never interrupt sending of the first code.

Depending on the API the 2nd IR code might get lost.

In general no new code should be sent until the status code has been received.
