Yes, that helps. What I needed was the info "USB V3.6" from the typelabel.

That seemed to fix it...now it can send the 56kHz codes.

Thank you for the info.
The problem would not have been the 56kHz codes but other parameters in the IR Codes that are only supported by rather current FW versions.
If you would have told us a bit earlier that you are using a different device to send the codes we would have found the problem earlier, too ...
