Hello,

I am looking for an IR receiver that will connect directly to a USB header without a cable. The receiver would have a header to accept a 2 conducter wire from a female port mounted on the back of the case.

I would like to simplify my HTPC by having a female port on the rear of the case, where I could plug directly to a xantech connection block. The female port would wire directly to the receiver on the usb header. This would be similar to other devices that utilze a female port for IR connection, such as Denon receivers. Does such a device exist?

I dont think so as per your requirements no such device exist untill now. Hope you can make by yourself or wait for something like this to come.
