Should we update the firmware (with 6.00.00 version) of our LAN devices ?

If yes, how to ?

If everything is working fine there is no need for a firmware update.

Which firmwareversion does your device have ?

I would like to test the largest "IRTrans Device Status Dialog".
It may be useful for me.
For example, with this new firmware, can I use an external IR Receiver without removing the red jumper ?

I give you all versions I've found :

IRSERVER Version 5.12.08

IRTRANS LAN :
IR VER : E5.11.10
ETH VER : L1.06.26

IRTRANS CLIENT Version 5.23.4

As this is only a firmware change there will be no hardware changes - that means of course you still need to remove the red jumper to use an external receiver.

In general we do not advise to make firmware updates without having problems.
